Jessica Mendoza

Jessica Mendoza is a rising star in the Showjumping world and broke into the World’s Top 100 and Britain’s Top 10 riders in Spring 2015.

The Cheltenham-born showjumper, who started riding at the age of three, joined Team GB at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio and also competed at senior level in 2015 at the European Showjumping Championships.  

Jessica was named Leading Pony Rider by British Showjumping for both 2009 and 2010. In 2011 she was part of the victorious Great Britain team at the Pony European Championships in Poland and the following year Jessica won her second Team Gold at the Pony Europeans in France.

She moved to the Junior Riders European Team in 2013, winning Team Silver in Spain. The following year added to her tally of gold-medals at the European Championships and also picked up an individual bronze while riding Spirit T.

In 2015, Jessica was part of the silver medal winning Nations Cup team, awarded Longines Rising Star of 2015 & Britain’s Showjumping under 21 Rider of the Year.

After joining ISM in April 2016, Jessica said: “ISM are fast developing a great reputation in the showjumping world and I’m excited about them being part of Team Mendoza.”
