India's Shiv Kapur enjoyed a welcome return to form in the BMW International Open in Munich where he finished in 8th position after firing a final round of 65 to put him on a four round total of sixteen under par. Nick Dougherty won the event on twenty two under par by one shot from Rafa Echenique.
After a few weeks off South Africa's James Kingston was firing on all cylinders once more and finished in a tie for 9th on fifteen under par.
Rory Mcilroy who was tied for 10th in the US Open finished on fourteen under par in Germany and in 15th position.
Another of our Indian golfers, SSP Chowrasia also put in his best performance of the year finishing on eleven under and in a tie for 21st.
Over in South Africa Attie Schwartzel, younger brother of Charl, shot rounds of 70 and 75 to finish alongside Darren Fichardt (72 and 73) in a tie for 5th position in the Vodacom Business Origins of Golf Tour at Fancourt.
