Gregory Bourdy is a four-time European Tour winner and one of France’s most recognisable golfers.
He claimed his maiden main Tour title at Mallorca Classic in 2007, showing no sign of nerves to shoot four rounds in the 60s and triumph by two shots.
Gregory came out on top in a three-man play-off to clinch his second victory at the Estoril Open de Portugal the following year, where he also entered the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time.
He made it a hat-trick of titles in 2009, holding off the challenge of Rory McIlroy to win the UBS Hong Kong Open by two strokes. One of the European Tour’s most consistent performers, Bourdy reached a career-high of 81st in the world rankings in 2011.
After claiming five top-20 finishes the previous year, he returned to the winner’s circle at the ISPS Handa Wales Open in September 2013, closing with a hat-trick of birdies to claim a two-shot victory.
That result helped to secure the Frenchman's place in the European Tour’s inaugural Final Series, where he eventually finished 25th, a career best, in the Race to Dubai.
Gregory has also enjoyed success on the Sunshine Tour, winning the Telkom PGA Championship in 2006. He was also victorious three times on the Alps Tour, at the Open International Stade Français in 2005 and the Open de la Commission Professionnelle and Open de Bordeaux two years earlier.
A year prior to turning professional in 2003, he won the Scottish Youths Amateur Open Championship and played for France in the Eisenhower Trophy. Gregory also represented his country at the World Cup in 2008 and 2011.
In 2013, he became the first player to take five points from five in the Seve Trophy when he helped Continental Europe beat Great Britain and Ireland.
The Frenchman enjoyed a successful 2016, after starting the European Tour season with second spot at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.
Greg finished in a share of 18th place at both the US Open and the USPGA Championship and was tied for 21st spot at the Olympic Games in Rio in August.
